§ 26-151. Findings and purpose of article.

The Savannah River and the Ogeechee River have been designated as protected rivers by the state department of community affairs, and a Savannah River and Ogeechee River Corridor Protection Plan has been adopted by the county. The purpose of the Savannah River and Ogeechee River Corridor Protection District is to establish measures to guide future growth and development in the areas adjacent to the Savannah River and the Ogeechee River.
